About this soap:

This soap takes wildcrafted dried creosote (Larrea Tridentata) and infuses the plant in olive oil for 6-8 weeks in a solar infusion- a process that allows the components of the plant to come through the oil infusion, and blends it with plant based oils and aloe for a lovely soap.

I add nothing more to this soap and the scent is very light, I consider this soap unscented, although once you use the bar in a warm environment, the smell of the creosote comes through.

The scent of the desert after a rain, is a mild, pleasant smell that distinctly conveys a sense of place, to those that have smelled it before.

I harvest the creosote from my property in Tucson, AZ. The Creosote Bush (also known as the greasewood plant) is a plant found in the desert Southwest.
